Aureole — A Journal of Multidisciplinary Studies and Research corrects and, where necessary, retracts published work under the following terms.
Corrections
Errors that do not affect findings or conclusions are addressed by a published Correction notice linked to the original article. The original remains unchanged and available.
Retractions
Articles are retracted where findings are unreliable through error or misconduct, where the work has been published elsewhere, where it contains plagiarism, or where there is evidence of unethical research. Retraction notices state the reason, name who is retracting, and are freely available. The original article is not removed; it is marked as retracted on every page.
Expressions of concern
Expressions of concern may be published where an investigation is inconclusive or ongoing.
Withdrawal before publication
Authors may withdraw a manuscript by written request to the Chief Editor before acceptance. Withdrawal after acceptance requires the Chief Editor’s agreement.
Articles are not removed from the published record at an author’s request.
