Aureole — A Journal of Multidisciplinary Studies and Research is committed to the standards of academic integrity set out in the UGC (Promotion of Academic Integrity and Prevention of Plagiarism in Higher Educational Institutions) Regulations, 2018, and to the ethical principles generally observed in scholarly publishing.
Authors
Authors must submit original work, accurately reported, with sufficient detail for others to evaluate it. Fabrication or falsification of data is research misconduct and results in rejection or retraction and notification of the author’s institution. Authors must acknowledge all sources, obtain permission for reproduced material, and must not submit simultaneously to another journal. An author who discovers a significant error in published work must notify the Chief Editor promptly and cooperate in issuing a correction or retraction.
Reviewers
Reviewers must be objective and specific; personal criticism of the author is unacceptable. Reviewers must identify relevant published work the authors have not cited, and alert the editor to substantial overlap with other work known to them.
Editors
Editors evaluate manuscripts on intellectual merit alone, without regard to race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, citizenship, institutional affiliation or political philosophy. Editors must not disclose information about a submitted manuscript to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers and the publisher, and must not use unpublished material in their own research without written consent.
The publisher
The Research Cell of St. Stephen’s College Uzhavoor supports the editorial team in maintaining these standards and does not interfere in editorial decisions on individual manuscripts.
Raising a concern
Concerns about published or submitted work may be raised in writing with the Chief Editor, or with the Co-Editor where the concern relates to the Chief Editor.
